Apricot Anemone Bowls

These are half bowl, half sea creature, as if they should float near the sea bottom. Each bowl perches on its own scalloped seashell and is decoupaged with apricot colored handmade paper and beaded with shiny pearl beads.

Autumn Leaf Bowl

This bowl has been woodburned with a vine of colorful autumn leaves that have been colored with oil pencils. The rim of the bowl is decorated with soft goat leather that has been weaved to the gourd with brown leather lace. The outside of the bowl is lightly dyed with leather dye and the inside of the bowl has been decoupaged with handmade paper.

Beaded Turkey Tail Bowl

This bowl colored with three different colors of leather dyes is decoupaged with handmade paper and dried plant material. Teardrop shaped green glass beads have been weaved along the rim with black leather lace. The layers of leather dyes is reminiscent of the color patterns of the North American Turkey Tail Mushroom.

Blue Daisy Bowl

This colorful bowl is decoupaged with blue handmade paper, dried pressed daisies and silver and gold fibers. The edge of bowl is weaved with matching pretty blue fibers and the outside of the bowl is stained with leather dye.

Chickory Swirl Bowl

Blue handmade swirl paper is decoupaged on the inside and outside of this bowl. The inside rim is trimmed with metallic blue pigment powder mixed with varnish and the edge of the bowl is laced with matching blue fibers. Leather dye is also used on the outside of this bowl. The name of this bowl comes from the Chickory Wildflower.
